It’s fall in Ohio and that can only mean one thing: Buckeye Football Season. Trinity Homes proudly supports our beloved Buckeyes and we are excited to be a part of the 5th Annual Ohio State Four-Miler, which takes place October 22 at 10am.
The largest four mile race in the United States, with 15,000 participants, offers exclusive incentives to entice Buckeye fans young and old: The opportunity to enter ‘The Shoe’ and “finish on the 50” as well as a finisher’s medal that any Buckeye would be proud to display, among other exciting details for the event.
The Ohio State Four-Miler provides a fun event for both walkers and runners. This annual celebration of football and fitness also donates a portion of the proceeds to The Urban and Shelley Meyer Fund for Cancer Research, a fund dedicated to advancing cancer research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center — Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard Solove Research Institute. Be sure to explore all the fun activities at the event, especially the following “must dos” at the race.
Many Buckeye legends will be participating in the race with you, and will be cheering you across the finish line. Buckeyes scheduled to be in attendance include Brutus Buckeye, Jake Ballard, Zach Boren, Bobby Carpenter, Terence Dials, Craig Krenzel, Shelley Meyer, Ryan Miller, Lauren Shenk Miller, Scoonie Penn, Anthony Schlegel, JJ Sullinger, William White, Justin Zwick. Don’t forget to high-five your favorite as you cross the finish line.
Buckeyes know how to throw a tailgate party and the OSU Four-Miler will be throwing an epic tailgate in the Southwest parking lot immediately after the race, from 11:00am-1:00pm. The tailgate will include vendor booths with plenty of food and fun, as well as music.
Trinity Homes will be at the tailgate with our friends, HER Realtors. Stop by our booth and enter a chance to win a new Trinity Home valued at $250,000 in our Great Home Giveaway, or two seats on the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.
October is always a beautiful time of year in Ohio. What better way to spend a Sunday morning in October than a nice stroll (or run) through campus with 14,999 of your best Buckeye friends! We look forward to seeing you October 22 as you #FinishOn50!
